The Thin House is at least twice as deep as it is wide, and has windows on both sides of the house. A Shotgun House is a type of Thin House. But Shotgun Houses have one characteristic which is intolerable to today’s market: there is no way to get to the back rooms without walking through the middle rooms. If the Thin House is very small and none of the middle rooms are bedrooms, that may be OK, but if it’s a bedroom that belongs to a teenager, then we all know that will never work. So our Thin Houses always provide a way around middle bedrooms. They’re a bit wider as a result, of course.
