For all other designs, if the area is 2,000 square feet or less and it is two stories tall or more, we call it a “Small House” rather than a “Cottage” because the public perception of the term “Cottage” includes the low eave. But the term “Katrina Cottage” now is well-known enough that we elected to use the term “Katrina Tall Cottage” for all designs that are two stories tall or taller and meet the Katrina criteria (able to be manufactured and shipped over the highway in modules that are assembled onsite.)
